1. General Ordering Information:

For the most efficient service, please use our online ordering service which, through secure PayPal connection, accommodates major credit cards in addition to PayPal Accounts. Internet ordering is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by using the Product Mart. We also extend Net 30 Day accounts to qualified US Domestic institutions and companies. Please indicate “Purchase Order” as payment method at online checkout, with a note to us requesting terms, and we will contact you for further information.

International Orders:

In addition to the United States and its territories, UbiquiLIGHT also accepts orders from other countries. All orders of international origin are exported from the U.S. in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. Law is prohibited. UbiquiLIGHT will accept Telegraph Transfer and international money order in advance in addition to credit card order via PayPal.  For all non-PayPal payments, please use our online ordering service, and please specify “Purchase Order” as payment method during checkout. Include a note stating method of payment and/or requesting banking information for wire transfer.

Special Orders:

UbiquiLIGHT also takes special orders, such as a prototype sample, from customers.  A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required in such cases.

Non-cancelable / Non-returnable Orders:

All orders that are not in stock are considered as non-cancelable / non-returnable orders

 2. Terms and Conditions

Payment:

For the most efficient service, please use our online ordering service which, through secure PayPal connection, accommodates major credit cards in addition to PayPal Accounts. For payment by Check, Money Order or Wire transfer, select Purchase Order as online payment method and include a note as to how your payment is being sent.

We also extend credit to qualified US Domestic institutions and companies. A credit application can be requested upon online order submission by indicating Purchase Order as payment method and including a note requesting approval of NET 30 terms. We will contact you for further information. When requesting credit terms, please allow sufficient time to complete the approval process. 

FOB Point:

FOB point is Los Altos, CA, USA.

Shipping Charges:

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer on all shipments. Any disputed shipping charges billed to a customer account or consignee billing, will be charged back to the customer by UbiquiLIGHT.

Sales Tax:

Only orders shipped to California need to remit sales tax. UbiquiLIGHT does not remit sales tax to states other than California.

Return Policy:

• Please contact sales@ubiquilight.com to obtain an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number prior to returning product. 
• All returns should be made within 30 days of date of invoice and be accompanied by the original invoice number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return. 
• Return freight charge must be prepaid. C.O.D. returns cannot be accepted. 
• Returned merchandise must be in original packaging and in resalable condition. 
• Parts returned due to customer error will be subject to a 30% restocking charge. "Not-In-Catalog Items, Custom-Made Items, and  The Special Order Items" are not returnable. 

This return policy may be altered under special circumstances upon prior approval from UbiquiLIGHT.

Dishonored Check Policy:

If a check you give us for payment is dishonored for any reason by the bank or other institution on which it is drawn, you agree to pay UbiquiLIGHT a $40.00 service charge.

Prices/Quantities:

Prices are subject to change without notice and quantities may be limited.

Warranty:

UbiquiLIGHT warrants the MECHANICAL INTEGRITY of all products for a period of 1 year after purchase. UbiquiLIGHT’s sole obligation for products that prove to be defective within one year of purchase will be replacement or repair.  UbiquiLIGHT  gives no other warranty either expressed or implied and specifically disclaims all other warranties, including warranties for merchantability and fitness.  In no event shall UbiquiLIGHT’s liability exceed the buyer's purchase price, nor shall UbiquiLIGHT be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

NOTICE. UbiquiLIGHT products include embedded semiconductor diode lasers which are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Proper electrostatic safeguards MUST be taken in the handling of these products. This warranty specifically excludes products which have been subject to misuse (including static discharge), neglect, accident or modification, or which have been soldered or altered during assembly and are not capable of being tested.

DO NOT USE PRODUCTS SOLD BY UbiquiLIGHT AS CRITICAL COMPONENTS IN LIFE SUPPORT DEVICES OR SYSTEMS!

Products sold by UbiquiLIGHT are not authorized for use as critical components in life support devices or systems. A critical component is any component of a life support device or system whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to cause the failure of the life support device or system, or to affect its safety or effectiveness.
